Digital Signage is a relatively new but steadily growing market. Not only are there plenty different sub-niches, there‘re also many diverging software vendors. In many ways, these variations can be subsumed under the common criteria, that they are able to play digital video or display digital images. Oftentimes, that‘s also an apt description of the only features these solutions offer. The bulk of the Digital Signage software solutions are little more but remote controlled DVD Players for digital media files. While this does cover basic usage scenarios, it lacks any potential for growth or change.
VIDERO Signage 3 is different. Our solution is one of the few, that does not limit your imagination or potential growth through restricted feature sets. Instead of trying to be a mere, shallow digital variation of the DVD Player, VIDERO is a media compositing solution with tons of features to allow for breathtaking presentations.
We realized early, that the merits of a Digital Signage software are not the display of content, but the creation of content. Every computer can display video files. But creating dynamical and animated compositions, incorporating realtime weather information, videos, images, and adding image effects or editing the video; usually one would need a broad set of highly specialized media applications to fulfill these tasks. We disagree.
VIDERO makes it easy to do all of these operations and much more. Instead of rushing to market with sub par solutions, we invested time and developed a highly functional interface which enables novice up to advanced users to create stunning compositions.
We care for usability and ergonomics. The better the user interface, the better the results of using the software. Keeping in mind that better usability correlates with faster usage, VIDERO not only leads to better but especially faster workflows. And since time is money, using VIDERO may very well lead to high savings. Comparable to the Apple Mac, high quality solutions do not convince because they‘re cheap, but because the better usability and workmanship lead to cost savings and better throughput in the long run.
VIDERO Signage 3 consists out of three main modules: The VIDERO Composer, the VIDERO Server, and the VIDERO Player.
